Your information.
A clear purpose

How Molten Mess handles information when you visit this website or get in touch.

Who is responsible?

Molten Mess Ltd is responsible for the personal information used to run this website and respond to enquiries. Company number: 16691409. Registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.

For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].

When you email me

I use your email address, name and the information you choose to share to respond, discuss your requirements and prepare a proposal where appropriate. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is not needed for your enquiry.

Where you ask about entering into a contract, I use the information to take steps at your request before a contract. For other business correspondence, I rely on legitimate interests in responding to relevant enquiries and managing business communications. I do not automatically add enquirers to a marketing mailing list.

Providers and sharing

Cloudflare provides the website’s hosting and delivery. It processes technical information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the service. Zoho provides the business email service; this account uses its UK data-centre region. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

The website does not use an online enquiry form. Clicking an email link opens your own email service; a message is sent only when you send it. Formspree is not connected and does not receive information from this website.

Where information is processed

The email account’s UK region does not mean every aspect of provider support, security processing or global website delivery is confined to the UK. Cloudflare’s global delivery and provider support can involve processing outside the UK. Where required, providers use contractual safeguards for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses and UK transfer provisions. You can contact me for more information about the safeguards relevant to your information. See Cloudflare’s data-processing terms and Zoho’s privacy information.

How long information is kept

Enquiries that do not become client projects are kept for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, then deleted unless there is a specific reason to retain relevant correspondence, such as an ongoing dispute or legal requirement. Client and accounting records follow the retention requirements relevant to those records. Provider backups may follow separate deletion cycles.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of its use, or portability. You may also have a right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact [email protected] to make a request or raise a concern.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies and analytics

This website’s own code does not set cookies, use browser storage or load advertising or analytics tools. Cloudflare may process technical information for delivery and security; any future use of optional tracking will be explained here before it is introduced. No embedded Formspree form, CAPTCHA or newsletter signup is included.
